A tax ID is an identifying number used for tax purposes in customs clearance. Some countries federally mandate recipients to provide their tax ID for their orders to be shipped and delivered. 

TAX ID is mandatory in some countries (such as Peru, Chile, Argentina, South Korea, India, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, etc.) for imported packages to go through customs clearance. If you live in a country with this requirement, please provide your tax ID at checkout to prevent delays.
