💋 Colorfix Disclosure

Danessa Myricks Beauty is a global brand that sells products worldwide. Thus, we comply with all required regulations worldwide. Since different countries have different regulations, we must specify how to use shades and products if you're purchasing from the US, which differs from if you purchase from somewhere like Europe. 

Therefore, we added warning labels for specific shades as a way of providing usage guidance based on purchase region. Additionally, we disclose all ingredients of the formula on our ingredient listing. 

The rules for using Colorfix vary by country. For reference, red pigments are considered safe for the eye area in Europe, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Canada. However, the FDA in the US hasn't approved these color additives for use on the eyes: although this doesn't indicate they're unsafe, they’re just not yet approved by the FDA in the US.

Colorfix has multiple uses, so each shade and package comes with its own "How to Use" directions, customized to the intended areas of use based on the purchase origin. This is mandated by all Governing Regulatory Bodies to sell our products. This also includes providing extensive dossiers of all ingredients in our formula to the FDA and other Global Governing Agencies.

DISCLOSURE FOR COLOR ADDITIVES

Per the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the following colorant additives present in certain of our face and eye area products are not permitted in color cosmetic products intended for use on the eye area: including, without limitation, Red 6, Red 6 Lake, Red 7, Red 7 Lake, Red 21 Lake, Red 22 Lake, Red 27, Red 27 Lake, Red 28, Red 28 Lake Yellow 6 Lake, Yellow 10 Lake and/or Silver.
